Join the team
Toolbox facilitators deliver our workshops in schools: paid, practical, hands-on experience applying what you're learning in your degree, while building the confidence and classroom skills that carry into any psychology or education career.
Why facilitate with Toolbox
Put your psychology degree to work in the classroom, not just in lectures and readings.
Build confidence, communication and classroom management skills that serve any future psychology or education pathway.
A 3-day induction, holiday training every term, and a Team Leader giving you regular supervision and feedback.
No fixed 9 to 5. You're rostered around school bookings, with as little as two days' availability a week.
A competitive hourly rate plus super, with travel costs covered on top.
Debrief with other facilitators after every session and share what's working in the room.
What you'll do
Turn up 30 minutes early to sign in, meet the school contact, and set up.
50 to 60 minutes with a class of 25 to 30 students, using interactive tools, games and discussion to hold the room.
Handle disclosures or wellbeing concerns safely, reporting them to the school when needed.
Reflect with other facilitators and your Team Leader after every session.
